Fall Outings
Gaver Farm - Molly’s kids checked this farm out on Monday and had a blast! They do timed tickets to crowd control and have more than just pumpkins - there is a corn maze, photo opps, a giant slide and more!
South Mountain Creamery - Only open on the weekends, we haven’t been here but friends recommend this as a great place to check out the farm animals! Plus, it’s a nice drive out of the city.
Homestead Farm - Pick your own produce! And a beautiful drive to upper MoCo.
Shorts DNA Results
Over the weekend we received Shorts’ DNA test results and we were definitely surprised! When we rescued Shorts from Lucky Dogs Animal Rescue we were told he was a long haired dachshund - turns out he’s only 12.9% dachshund! The DNA test results also connected us with some of his distant relatives who’ve also done DNA test results through Embark. They all live in Hawaii (where he’s from) so maybe we’ll have to plan a trip eventually for a little family reunion :D

Run for Ruth
Run for Ruth - We Dissent Virtual Race!
Challenge yourself to a Virtual 5k race or log 87 miles (total accumulated mileage... doesn't have to be done all at once!).
