With the school year comes more bearable DC weather, so make time to get outdoors with the fam! On a nice night, check out the rooftop/green space Hi-Lawn at Union Market. Hi-Lawn has a regular schedule of events including Nauti Mondays and Live Music on Thursdays.

Finally, to start off the season, make plans to go apple picking! An MAA favorite is Butler’s Orchard in Germantown, Maryland. There are plenty of fruits, flowers, and vegetables you can pick in September, including raspberries, potatoes, peppers, tomatoes, and of course—apples!

And I’ve adjusted to living life on a lot less sleep. Someone please tell me it gets better!
While I’m thrilled to be back in the office with the team, it’s been a tough transition to leave this little guy at home. That cute face is hard to walk away from (if I do say so myself)!
